VET STUDENTS - EMS

We welcome Veterinary Students to see practice with us. We only ask that you are punctual, dedicated and proactive. In return we will provide you with as much hands on experience as allowed for your stage of education. 

Our placements are available in weekly blocks running Monday - Sunday (9am - 5pm) throughout the year. There is a small staff room for tea/coffee (cake always welcome) where you can comfortably eat your lunch.

Work Experience Students

We welcome work experience students to see practice with us. We adhere to strict Health & Safety guidelines and a veterinary practice is seen as a high risk environment. As such we can only take students over 16 years of age. 

Our placements are available in weekly blocks running Monday - Sunday (9am - 3.30pm) throughout the year. There is a small staff room for tea/coffee where you can comfortably eat your lunch.

Qualified Veterinary Surgeon Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an Experienced Veterinary Surgeon to start April 2026. 

Experienced Vet Package Overview:
• Independently owned Vet group with two medium size practice sites
• Full time (will consider Part time for the right candidate)

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced General Practice Small Animal Vet to take their next steps or work towards a funded certificate. Our busy well established independent group with two practices, both have full facilities; in house lab, digital X-Ray, ultrasound, dental X-Ray etc. 

Shift - For maximum work life balance our patterns are; Early shift is 8/9am-4/5pm and a late shift is 11-7pm. Consultations run morning, mid afternoon and early evening, with each vet getting surgery slots every day, and a designated catch up slot for calls etc. Time each day for reflection and further learning. Shifts can be moulded to fit the candidates requirements if possible.

Weekends - Saturday 9am-5pm, Sunday 9am-2pm (Sundays are temporarily suspended). Weekends are 1 in 6 with time off in lieu the following week.
